Emirates placed an order for 50 Boeing 777 jetliners at the Dubai Air Show. The deal is worth $18 billion, the largest commercial order by value in the plane maker's history. Meanwhile aero engine maker Rolls-Royce has won a $280m order from Garuda Indonesia Airlines for Trent 700 engines to power four Airbus A330 aircraft, and inked a $500m deal with Saudi Arabian Airlines, worth up to $500m, to provide engines and support for four Airbus A330 aircraft.
In other news, Lewis Hamilton found his best form to win the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix!
